In Kherson region, invaders destroyed a hospital and took the life of a nurse

Russian occupation forces shelled a hospital in Kherson region and killed a nurse in the suburbs of Kherson.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on the night of January 15, Russians attacked a hospital in Bilozerka, Kherson region. The building's roof and facade were damaged, and windows were smashed. There was no information about the victims.

Earlier, a 56-year-old nurse from a local outpatient clinic was killed by Russian shelling in Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson, said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Regional Military Administration.

The press service of the administration also published a summary for the past day, in which it reported on the occupiers' strikes on 37 settlements in the region, wounded local residents and destruction.

Russian troops struck at social infrastructure facilities and residential areas of the region's settlements. The shelling damaged a multi-story building, 12 private houses, a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, garages and several private cars. Seven people were injured in the attacks.

On the afternoon of January 9, Russian forces conducted an air strike on Kherson. The enemy dropped at least two guided aerial bombs on residential buildings, causing destruction and injuries among civilians.

Since the beginning of 2025, Russian troops have carried out about 650 attacks on the Kherson region using drones. Seven people were killed and 55 others were injured in these attacks.

On January 8, Roman Matviychuk, the head of one of the neighborhood committees of Kherson's Korabelny district, was killed in Naddnipryanske by a Russian drone attack. The Russian military attacked a car with a drone, in which 71-year-old Roman Matviychuk was with the driver.

On January 6, an ecologist of the city council, Volodymyr Shum, was killed in a Russian drone attack on a minibus in Kherson.
