On the night of November 22, Ukrainian drones attacked the temporarily occupied Crimea, in particular, Krasnoperekopsk, where the 220 kV Krasnoperekopsk substation is located. According to open sources, this is one of the key nodes of the Crimean power system, which provides main power to a large part of the peninsula.

This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda.

In addition to Krasnoperekopsk, explosions also occurred in Simferopol, Gvardeyskoye and Armyansk.

According to local residents, the first explosions occurred around 00:45 in Simferopol. Witnesses reported explosions from the direction of the DRES, after which an ambulance arrived at the scene at around 00:50.

Around 01:00, a new series of powerful explosions occurred in the northwestern part of Simferopol.

A tense situation was also observed in the village of Gvardeyskoye, where the Russian airbase is located. Subscribers of the monitoring channels counted about ten explosions accompanied by the sound of shooting.

Intent has written about the transformation of Crimea into a de facto military base many times. Thus, the Russian authorities in the annexed Crimea have intensified a campaign to recruit contract soldiers to participate in the war against Ukraine. Human rights activists report systematic pressure on local residents - from mass mailing of propaganda materials to coercion through administrative cases and "patriotic" events in educational institutions.

In the occupied Crimea, children are also actively involved in war propaganda, forcing them to support the army of the aggressor state. Schoolchildren and adolescents are used in "patriotic" videos and camps, turning them into a tool of militarization.
