In Crimea, activists of the ATESH movement observe the continuation of active actions of the occupiers to strengthen their own defense on the peninsula.

This was reported by the press service of the Presidential Mission in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The post says that the construction of new fortifications at both entrances to the city of Yevpatoria continues. At the same time, in Sevastopol, due to the lack of military personnel, the occupiers are engaging civilians in the construction of fortifications on the Balaklava Highway and in Kozacha Bay. The agents also noticed the arrangement of new firing points and fences along the coast in the Bakhchisaray district, near Andriivka and Uglovoye.

It is also noted that the occupation administration continues to implement a set of measures to strengthen the protection of the Kerch bridge. To increase security, massive metal fences are being built along the bridge to protect its pillars from potential attacks. Additionally, concrete tetrapods and metal structures, anti-tank barriers, and hedgehogs are being installed in the water area around the bridge.

Earlier, it was reported that checkpoints were set up on the southern coast of Crimea as part of anti-terrorist exercises conducted by the Russian-controlled Crimean authorities in cooperation with Russian security forces. Thus, according to eyewitnesses, sandbag fortifications have been set up on both sides of the road leading to Alushta. After the large-scale exercises of the Russian territorial defense forces that began in the annexed Crimea, with massive checkpoints in coastal areas and checks of cars with documents, the queues in front of the Kerch bridge from the side of Crimea immediately increased, while those from neighboring Russia became shorter. It is also noted that in the temporarily occupied Dzhankoy and Yevpatoriya, Russian authorities and security forces are actively looking for men of military age to be mobilized into the Russian army under the guise of anti-terrorist exercises. In the last week, mobile checkpoints have been set up across the peninsula, and military and police patrols have been conducting intensive checks, inspecting vehicles and looking for potential "meat."
