The court ordered the owner to vacate the illegally occupied land plot in Odesa and dismantle the car wash built there.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Earlier, prosecutors found that the entrepreneur had built a non-residential building on a communal land plot without any permits. In order to restore the rights of the community, the prosecutor's office appealed to the court to demolish the unauthorized construction and cancel the ownership of the illegal object with an area of almost 140 square meters.

The court agreed with the prosecutors' position. However, the owner of the car wash did not comply with the decision. Therefore, in February of this year, the court ordered the illegal building to be demolished.

Earlier, investigators in Odesa sent to court the case of a man who had illegally built a warehouse on the land of a local community. During the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officers found that the owner of a limited liability company illegally used an adjacent land plot owned by the city of Odesa to expand his business. Without any construction permits, he hired workers and erected a 342.7-square-meter building, which he planned to use as a warehouse.

Earlier, in Odesa region, the head of a farm was arrested for land fraud. The case involves forging documents about the loss of crops in order to receive compensation from the state. The director of the farm "Byanov D.V." is suspected of misappropriation of public funds through forgery. According to law enforcement, he deliberately entered false information about the death of crops to receive the maximum possible subsidy from the state, although the farm did not actually own these crops.

Also in early February, police sent to court an indictment against a resident of Odesa who is suspected of having illegally built a recreation center on community land.
