A sharp rise in the price of all types of fuel has been recorded in Odesa and across Ukraine.

According to the monitoring data, price tags at gas stations have gone up by several hryvnias in the last day alone. The main reason for this is the escalation of the situation in the Middle East, which immediately affected global oil prices and logistics.

The situation at Odesa gas stations today

Prices in Odesa show a significant variation depending on the network, but the overall trend is disappointing:

Energy Point: 95 Euro - UAH 60.95; diesel fuel - UAH 62.55; gas - UAH 36.36.

AMIC Energy: 95 Premium - UAH 67.99; Euro 95 - UAH 63.99.

Mustang: A-95 Euro 5 - UAH 68.99; 95 Mustang - UAH 71.99; Mustang+ diesel fuel - UAH 71.99.

All-Ukrainian statistics

According to the Ministry of Finance portal, diesel fuel was hit hardest, with an average increase of UAH 2.73 per liter. A-95 gasoline went up by UAH 2.46, while the popular A-92 crossed the UAH 61 mark. Autogas also did not stand aside, adding 51 kopecks to the price.

Important: The average price of A-95 in Ukraine is currently UAH 65.06, and diesel - UAH 64.96.

In turn, the director of the A-95 Consulting Group Sergiy Kuyun explained to TSN that such an uncharacteristic jump in spring is due solely to the "Middle East factor." The global oil market immediately reacted to the tensions in the region.

However, there is some positive news. Despite the fact that prices have skyrocketed over the past two days, the expert believes that there will be no massive move beyond the 70 UAH/liter mark. The situation on the global markets has already begun to stabilize, which should stop a further rally in prices at Ukrainian gas stations.

It is worth noting that despite the rise in fuel prices, our correspondents in Odesa and the region do not observe queues at gas stations.

As Intent previously reported, a case against a resident of the Berezivska community who organized an illegal network of gas stations was brought to court in Odesa. Law enforcement officers seized more than 33 thousand liters of counterfeit fuel worth more than UAH 3 million.
