Law enforcement officers exposed corruption in the military medical commission of the Voznesensk multidisciplinary hospital. According to the investigation, the secretary of the MEC organized a scheme to obtain illegal benefits by extorting money for providing fictitious health reports.

This is evidenced by the decision of the Central District Court of Mykolaiv.

The official developed a plan to enrich herself in December 2025, looking for people who wanted to obtain falsified medical reports to avoid mobilization or transfer from combat units. The suspect estimated her services at USD 15 thousand.

The investigation established that the woman, taking advantage of her official position, misled conscripts. In particular, she convinced conscripts who already had legal grounds for limited fitness that a positive decision of the commission was possible only if they paid a bribe, which she allegedly had to influence other members of the MEC.

During the court hearing, the suspect admitted to receiving money for illegal services, but asked the court not to impose round-the-clock arrest on her due to the need to care for her child. The court granted the investigation's request to remove the woman from office until April 5, 2026, to prevent possible pressure on witnesses or destruction of documentation.

She was also placed under nightly house arrest: the suspect is prohibited from leaving the house from 17:00 to 07:00, she is obliged to report any changes in contacts and not to communicate with other defendants in the case. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

Also, in Mykolaiv region, an official of a state-owned enterprise was found to be extorting a bribe. He developed a scheme for the opportunity to use the warehouse of a state-owned enterprise.

According to the investigation, in July 2025, a representative of Verona Agroexport LLC was looking for warehouses for storing agricultural grain crops in Mykolaiv region, in particular in Pervomaiskyi district.

While searching through an online ad, he found the mobile number of the acting director of the State Enterprise "Bread Base No. 76" in the village of Kavuny and called him to rent storage space for 500 tons of wheat. During the phone conversation, the official said that he could get all the necessary information about the lease from his deputy.
