Head of the occupation administration of Kalanchak in Kherson region was served with a notice of suspicion

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has served a notice of suspicion of aiding and abetting Russia to Galina Perelovych, the head of the Kalanchak occupation administration in Kherson region, a native of Crimea.

This was reported on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the investigation, Halyna Perelovych took a position in the occupation administration in July 2025.

Her responsibilities include managing the work of this illegal institution, coordinating its subordinate bodies, interacting with the media, organizing and holding public meetings with residents of the temporarily occupied territories. In addition, the imposition of Russian standards, including the transition to the legislation, document flow, and socio-economic system of the Russian Federation.

Kalanchak is an urban-type settlement in the Kherson region, the administrative center of theKalanchak settlement territorial community of the Skadovsk district. From the first day of the full-scale war, the Kalanchak settlement territorial community has been occupied by the Russian military.

Law enforcers are charging Galina Perelovych with Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The woman faces 10 to 12 years in prison.

According to the Center for Investigative Journalism, before the occupation of Crimea, Halyna Perelovych was twice elected as a village head of the Aromatne village council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2006. Since 2014, she has been cooperating with the Russian occupiers - she was the occupation head in the village of Aromatne, and at the end of December 2014 she was appointed the occupation head of the Belogorsk district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. At the end of 2022, Halyna Perelovych wrote a letter of resignation from the post of head of the occupation administration of the Bilohirsk district at her own request.
