Four houses restored in Mykolaiv after Russian shelling

In Mykolaiv, 4 more apartment buildings damaged by shelling have been repaired under the Restore HOME program.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.

The repairs are being carried out due to damage caused by rocket attacks and armed aggression by Russia. The program is being implemented with the support of the European Union in partnership with IFC and the State Energy Efficiency Fund. According to the Mykolaiv Energy Efficiency Center, windows and balcony structures have already been replaced in 164 apartments and common areas. At one of the facilities, 612 m² of soft roof was restored.

The Restore HOME program was launched in November 2022. It has already received about 70 applications for housing rehabilitation from condominiums from different regions of the country. Currently, condominiums from Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Dnipro regions and the city of Kyiv are eligible to participate. The funding covers 100% of the cost of construction works and materials. The total budget of the program is EUR 25 million.

Roads in Mykolaiv region will be repaired to the tune of 4 million euros. The village council of the Yelanetska community has announced a tender for road repairs in the village of Velyka Solona. The cost of the work is over UAH 1.4 million. It is planned to restore a section of Andriyivska Street - from house No. 34 to No. 69. The region also plans to purchase materials for water supply. The expected cost of supplying pipes, tees and other components exceeds UAH 2.9 million. This will improve the quality and reliability of water supply in different communities of the region.
