After the divorce, the ex-wife of the first deputy chief of cyber police, Andriy Sharonov, began to publish photos from a new apartment in an elite residential complex, which became her father's property a couple of months before the divorce.

This was stated in their investigation by Bihus.Info journalists.

Thus, the deputy head of the cyber police, Andrii Sharonov, who was appointed in early 2022, after the arrival of the current head, Yurii Vykhodets, in his first declaration for 2022, indicated savings, a house, a land plot and an apartment in Odesa, which, given his past in business, seemed logical and justified. The assets were registered in his wife's name and disappeared with her in Sharonov's next declaration. At the same time, according to journalists, the woman began to show the interiors of a new apartment in the Marinist Residence, an elite complex by the sea in Odesa, on social media.

A few months before the couple's official divorce, the apartment was registered in the name of the wife's father. According to market prices, it would have cost at least $200,000 (without renovation), and the former father-in-law's official income would not have been enough for such a purchase.

In a commentary to Bihus.Info journalists, Andriy Sharonov noted that he did not participate in financing the purchase of the apartment.

"According to the information I have, obtained from my ex-wife, my former father-in-law purchased the apartment in the summer of 2023 and until the end of 2024 the apartment was not used for permanent residence and could not be used because it was under construction. In connection with the above and given that my ex-wife and I do not have any property rights, rights of use, lease or beneficial interest in the said apartment, I, as the declarant, have no grounds for declaring the real estate object specified in your request in accordance with Articles 46-52 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption" and official explanations of the NAPC," he said.
