Explosions were heard overnight in Sevastopol and the Bakhchisaray District

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The occupying authorities in Crimea reported a drone attack on the annexed city of Sevastopol and the Bakhchysarai district. Local residents reported numerous drone flyovers and explosions.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>According to Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Russian head of Sevastopol, the city’s air defense system and mobile fire groups (MFG) were activated. He claims that six UAVs were allegedly shot down near the Northern Side, in the Nakhimov and Gagarin districts. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Local residents reported drone flights over Inkerman and the Kamyshov Highway, in Strilets Bay; gunfire from the MFG at Cape Fiolent; as well as bursts of machine-gun fire in the Bakhchisaray district and muffled explosions coming from the “Kacha” or “Belbek” airfields.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

Earlier in occupied Sevastopol, a man—preliminarily identified as a former Ukrainian officer— waskilled in an explosion. According to unofficial reports, the victimwas Robert Shageev, a traitor to Ukraine who defected to the Russian Navy.

According to the “Crimean Wind” channel, at thetime of the explosion, the man was walking down a flight of stairs with a friend on Stoletovsky Avenue. Preliminary reports indicate that the device was planted in a trash can near a bench. The man died at the scene from his injuries. There were also reports that a woman was allegedly involved in the explosion.
