Enemy troops attacked an invincibility point in Kherson region

More than three dozen settlements in the Kherson region were hit by Russian drones and artillery. Two people were killed, nine others were injured, and residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

Over the past day, 36 settlements in Kherson region came under attack from Russian drones and artillery. Among them are Stanislav, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Novoraysk, Oleksandrivka, Zymivnyk and the city of Kherson.

The occupants shelled residential areas, critical and social infrastructure facilities. The shelling damaged a multi-storey building, seven private houses, an indestructibility point, an outbuilding, a garage and several cars.

The attacks killed two people and injured nine others.

On the night of August 28, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, firing hundreds of drones and missiles of various types. Defense forces destroyed most of the enemy targets, but 19 people were killed in Kyiv, including four children.

In Kherson region, 11 private houses were damaged, a gas distribution station, a cell tower, and several cars were destroyed. Four people were killed in the shelling and five others were injured.

Around 10:00, the occupiers shelled the central part of Kherson with artillery, causing a 59-year-old woman to sustain an explosive injury. At 11:20, a drone attacked a civilian car in Korabelny district, injuring a 42-year-old man. At around 11:30, artillery fire was used to shell one of the city's medical institutions, leaving a 25-year-old woman seriously injured and in critical condition. A 69-year-old employee of the institution was also injured.

Around 13:00, Zymivnyk came under fire: a 76-year-old woman and a 77-year-old man sustained explosive injuries. Despite the efforts of doctors, the heart of a 25-year-old woman from Kherson, who was wounded during the attack on the medical facility, stopped beating in the hospital.

In Bilozerka, a Russian drone dropped explosives on a 72-year-old woman who suffered multiple fractures. Another 76-year-old resident of Kherson sought medical treatment for explosive trauma and concussion after the attack on August 25. In Chervonyi Mayak, a drone hit a residential building, causing a 59-year-old woman inside to be seriously injured and die in hospital.

Earlier, on August 25, at least four multi-storey buildings and 28 private homes were destroyed in the shelling, as well as a gas pipeline, garages and several civilian cars.
