Enemy strikes at homes, hospitals and infrastructure in Kherson region

In the Kherson region, Russian shelling resulted in six people being wounded and 40 objects being damaged. The enemy attacked the communities of Kherson and Beryslav districts, destroying housing and critical infrastructure.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police in Kherson region.

The strikes damaged 40 objects: three multi-storey buildings, 30 private houses, two medical facilities, a village council building, a gas pipeline, and a car.

In the morning, a multi-storey building and 23 private houses were damaged by shelling in Chornobaivka with multiple rocket launchers. Prydniprovske was also hit with rocket-propelled grenades. FPV drones attacked Novoraysk, Dudchany and Nova Kamyanka, damaging residential and administrative buildings. Artillery in Bilozerka and Dariivka destroyed private houses, a gas pipeline and a car.

In Kherson, two women aged 63 and 66 were injured in the shelling of the Central district, they were diagnosed with explosive and brain injuries, contusions and shrapnel wounds. In the afternoon, an FPV drone damaged a high-rise building in the central part of the city, and a medical facility in Korabelny district was hit by artillery.

In Dniprovsky district, the shelling damaged a private house, and in the evening a drone threw explosives at a hospital building, destroying windows, the facade and doors. Four more residents aged 65-73 years needed medical assistance and were diagnosed with explosive injuries, contusions and bruises.

All relevant services were working at the scene: the police were inspecting the damage, collecting evidence and recording the consequences of the attacks. Over the past day, law enforcement officers received 485 appeals from citizens and opened 13 proceedings under the article "War Crimes" of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On February 7, three apartment buildings and eight private houses, a medical facility, a church, a private enterprise, a shuttle bus, a garage and a minibus were damaged in the enemy's attack.
