In Kherson, a Russian drone hit a civilian car in the central district of the city in the morning.
According to the head of the Kherson MVA Yaroslav Shanko, a 56-year-old driver was killed in the attack.
In turn, the Kherson State Emergency Service said that two other men were injured.
Despite the difficult security situation, rescuers were able to unblock the body of the deceased from the damaged car.
The authorities expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
Russian attacks on Kherson continue, and the city regularly suffers strikes on civilian infrastructure.
As a reminder, on March 12, Russian troops attacked a taxi in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. The attack on civilian transport occurred at noon, when there were passengers in the bus.
In turn, the Kherson regional prosecutor's office reported 20 victims as of 14:30.
As previously reported by Intent, on March 9, Russians once again shelled the settlements of Kherson region. The attacks killed one person and injured eight others. The Russian military fired at civilian infrastructure with artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems and UAVs of various types.
The Russian military directed attack drones at two private houses in Ukrayinka and Shevchenkivka, which were damaged. Artillery fire damaged five private houses in Ingulka. In addition, the occupants attacked a forklift in Novovorontsovka with FPV drones, two private houses in Osokorivka and Shyroka Balka.
The Russians also attacked a checkpoint with a UAV, damaging a police vehicle and a civilian car. In addition, the aggressor sent an attack drone at a residential area, damaging three apartment buildings and injuring a 35-year-old woman. The Kherson woman sustained blast trauma and facial injuries.
