Eight more children returned from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region

Five more families with children have been returned from the temporarily occupied Kherson region to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine. Since the beginning of 2024, 181 children from the Kherson region have been returned to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The official's post says that these families are raising eight children. These are five boys and three girls, aged 6 to 14.

The head of the OVA noted that the children and their parents are now safe and recovering from the horrors of the Russian occupation.

The families were returned by the charitable organization Save Ukraine.

This is not the first return of families with children from the temporarily occupied Kherson region this month. Earlier it was reported that six more families were evacuated from the temporarily occupied communities of Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine. These families are raising two boys and four girls. The children are between the ages of 3 and 12. Adults and children are now safe. Doctors and psychologists are working with them to help the families adapt to the new conditions. This return, like many others, was made possible thanks to the superhuman efforts of Save Ukraine.

It was also mentioned that nine children from the temporarily occupied communities of the Kherson region were returned to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine. These are four families with four boys and five girls. The youngest child is eight months old, the oldest is 17 years old. Now the children and their parents are safe and recovering from the horrors they had to endure during the Russian occupation. At the time, it was estimated that since the beginning of 2024, 139 children from the Kherson region have been returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine.
