Despite the "three-day truce" unilaterally declared by the Kremlin, shelling and attacks continue on the right bank of the Kherson region, killing and injuring civilians.

From May 9 to 10, Russian troops once again attacked settlements in the Kherson region. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, two people were injured during the day, and on the morning of May 10, another man died in Kherson after a drone strike on the Dniprovsky district.

Russian troops fired artillery, dropped ammunition from UAVs, and conducted air strikes. At least 17 settlements came under attack, including Kherson, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Burgunka, Veletynske, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Kizomys, Kozatske, Mykolaivka, Mylove, Sadove, Sofiyivka, Tokarivka, Tyahyntsi, Shlyakhove.

In total, at least 4 private houses and one car were damaged.

Thus, despite the Kremlin's loud statements about a temporary ceasefire, the Russian army continues to systematically shell Ukrainian territory, hitting civilian infrastructure and civilians.

From six in the morning on May 8 to six in the morning on May 9, 2025, the enemy also continued to terrorize Kherson region from the air. Dozens of settlements came under enemy fire. The enemy shelled 20 settlements of the region with artillery, dropped bombs and attacked with drones, including Kherson, Antonivka, Beryslav, Kizomys, Komyshany and others. The occupiers targeted residential areas. In several villages, private cars were destroyed, three houses were damaged, one of which was a multi-storey building.

The aggressor's shelling resulted in casualties, one person was killed and another was wounded.

As a reminder, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin announced a ceasefire from May 8 to 10 in honor of Victory Day, which is celebrated in Russia on May 9. Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to this statement by proposing a 30-day truce instead.
