City Hall counts the number of houses damaged by recent shelling

The Odesa municipality has counted the number of buildings that were damaged by the Russian air attack on June 20.

According to the press service of the city council, more than 50 buildings sustained varying degrees of damage, with more than 300 windows broken.

Water and electricity supply is being restored in a number of buildings. Employees of the State Emergency Service then counted more than 10 places where Russian drones hit Odesa on the night of June 20.

Firefighters rescued three people and evacuated six others from the burning building. While fighting the fire and rescuing people, structural elements collapsed on the rescuers, injuring three firefighters, who are currently in stable condition in the hospital. A 23-story residential building was also damaged.

Meanwhile, an emergency medical station in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi in Odesa region was destroyed in a night attack by Russians on June 22. No people were injured, but seven ambulances were disabled, six of them were smashed, and one ambulance burned down completely. The station served the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and four surrounding villages. A total of about 65 thousand people. According to rescuers, fires broke out at the site of the strikes, buildings on the territory of the ambulance station, a garage and a car in it were on fire, and a nearby residential building was also on fire.

Residential buildings and the city's inclusive center were destroyed as a result of the Russian air attack on Odesa at dawn on June 17. A nearby kindergarten building was also damaged. Destruction was recorded in the historic part of the city: houses were vandalized.

On June 10, Odesa was again targeted by the Russian army at night, killing two people.

The shelling damaged and destroyed residential buildings, an emergency ambulance station, a maternity hospital, and a fire broke out on the territory of the Odesa Zoo. Thirteen people were injured.
