Children's aid, protection and recovery: what the executive committee will decide in Mykolaiv

A meeting of the executive committee of the city council is scheduled to take place in Mykolaiv, where 62 issues are to be considered, ranging from assistance to affected children to civil defense. A number of decisions will also be made on the city's restoration.

This was reported by the press service of Mykolaiv City Council.

The meeting is scheduled for July 23, 2025, at 10:00 am. The agenda includes a wide range of issues related to social protection, infrastructure development and urban planning.

In particular, the members of the executive committee are to decide on granting the status of children affected by military operations and armed conflicts, as well as on providing financial assistance.

In addition, it is planned to approve the list of territorial specialized civil protection services, as well as determine the cost of renting a house in Mykolaiv per person for the second quarter of 2025. This decision applies to citizens who are registered with the social housing register at the executive committee of the city council.

At the last meeting, members of the executive committee were to consider approving the amount of monthly fees and benefits for studying at art schools. Other issues included the conditions for holding tenders for the transportation of passengers by city buses, determining the list of objects for these tenders, and setting tariffs for certain funeral services.

However, due to an air raid alert and the threat of ballistic missile attacks, the meeting was not broadcast online. As of today, there is also no recording of this meeting on the official YouTube channel.

In addition, the Executive Committee recently decided to change the maximum cost of catering services in educational institutions. The new rates will come into effect on September 1, 2025. This applies to students of all ages, children of privileged categories, as well as students of specialized schools and vocational schools.
