Cell tower vandalized in Kherson region

More than 20 houses and a cell tower were damaged by enemy shelling in Kherson region. There are civilian casualties.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

According to their data, over the past day, Russian troops fired and carried out air strikes on 18 settlements in the Kherson region, including Tomyna Balka, Tyahynka, Mykhailivka, Beryslav, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Komyshany, Shyroka Balka, Stanislav, Mykilske, Milove, Sablukivka, Novoraysk, Novovorontsovka, Odradokamyanka, Zmiivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, and Kherson itself.

The enemy targeted critical and social infrastructure facilities and residential areas. The shelling damaged 20 private houses, a cell tower and an outbuilding.

Two people died and five others were injured as a result of the Russian attacks.

Attacks on civilians in Kherson region continue unabated. Recently, the prosecutor's office launched a war crimes investigation after the shelling of Bilozerka and Kherson, which resulted in casualties. Thus, on December 2, 2024, at about 22:00, the Russian military carried out an artillery shelling of the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. A 75-year-old woman was killed when a shell hit a private house. The next day, on December 3, at 13:20, the enemy opened fire on the village of Bilozerka, Kherson district. The shelling killed a 44-year-old man and wounded two men aged 45 and 48. The invaders also cut off electricity to two communities.

In the morning of December 1, Russian military attacked public transportin Dniprovsky district with a UAV. Three people were killed and wounded.

Before that, the invaders dropped a munition from a drone on a civilian car in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, killing a woman.
