In Voznesensky district, local residents attacked the military during mobilization - there are wounded on both sides. Police have already opened criminal cases and are investigating the incident.

This was reported by the communication department of the National Police in Mykolaiv region.

On August 3, at about 10:00 a.m., a clash occurred in the village of Buzke, Voznesensk district, involving military personnel and local residents during mobilization activities jointly with the police.

According to preliminary information, the military of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Training Center and the JTF approached one of the local residents to check his documents. However, instead of cooperating, the man began to run away and hid in a local store. When he came out, a conflict broke out between him and the military, which was joined by two other local residents. The men attacked the servicemen with sticks, injuring one of them and damaging the official car.

In order to defend himself, one of the soldiers used a traumatic pistol and wounded one of the attackers in the leg. The police opened a criminal investigation into the incident under the article on intentional light bodily harm.

In addition, law enforcement officers launched a separate investigation into threats and violence against an official performing his or her duties. The offenders face up to five years in prison for such actions.

Investigative actions are currently underway, and law enforcement officers are checking all the circumstances of the incident.

In late July, SBU CI officers foiled an attempt to commit a double terrorist attack near the regional shopping center in Mykolaiv. During the special operation, the security forces detained two FSB agents who were preparing to blow up the administrative building of the regional territorial recruitment center separately, acting on the instructions of one coordinator.

And in May, the body of a man from Volyn, who had been detained by the TCC in Lutsk, was found in Mykolaiv. A few days later, he was found dead in a river near a water station. Law enforcement officials said there were no signs of violence, but relatives demanded an investigation into the circumstances of the death.
