At night, Russians attacked the south of Odesa region

On the night of May 19, Russians again attacked Odesa region with attack drones, paying more attention to the south of the region.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Oblast.

Separately, a fire broke out in an empty warehouse in Izmail district as a result of a hit. Rescuers extinguished the fire before it spread to a larger area. No one was killed or injured. The State Emergency Service involved 14 firefighters and five pieces of equipment, and the fire unit of the National Guard of Ukraine involved one piece of equipment and four personnel.

On the night of May 18, the Russian army once again attacked Odesa with attack drones, injuring an 11-year-old boy and a 59-year-old man. As a result of the enemy attack, three residential buildings were hit by unmanned aerial vehicles in Kyiv and Prymorskyi districts of Odesa. One of them, a one-story house in Prymorskyi district, was completely destroyed. Other buildings had damaged facades, roofs and glazing. Local fires broke out and were extinguished.

On the night of May 16, Russians attacked the south of Odesa region, in particular, the city of Izmail was hit. In particular, an unmanned aerial vehicle was recorded hitting a five-story residential building. The façade and glazing were damaged, and the balconies and a car shop on the ground floor caught fire.

In addition, a one-story residential building was damaged, injuring two people. The attack also damaged the port's infrastructure, including a warehouse and an administrative building. Glass was smashed in the facilities. Debris fell on the territory of an educational institution.
