The National Asset Recovery and Management Agency has filed a lawsuit with the Commercial Court of Odesa Region to recover debts under asset management agreements concluded with the private enterprise Marinex.

According to ARMA, the total amount of debt under the two agreements exceeds UAH 16 million.

These are two contracts for the management of seized ships that were transferred to ARMA in accordance with the decisions of investigating judges, in particular, the EMMAKRIS III vessel, transferred to ARMA by the decision of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv.

The company was also responsible for nine vessels that have been merged into a single asset: Rondo, Svir, Avangard, VolgoBalt 225, VolgoBalt 193, VolgoBalt 244, Omskiy 6, Naviger 2, Omskiy 132, transferred to ARMA by the decision of the Lychakiv District Court of Lviv.

In April 2025, both assets were transferred to the manager under acceptance certificates. According to the terms of the agreements, regardless of the financial results of the management, the company was obliged to make guaranteed payments to the state budget of Ukraine within a certain period of time.

However, the manager failed to fulfill its financial obligations and the total amount of debt is currently UAH 13 million 465.2 thousand.

Earlier, ARMA had already issued an order to the company for non-compliance with the terms of the management agreements. Based on the results of the analysis of the current state of fulfillment of obligations, ARMA recorded numerous violations. By the order, the National Agency obliged the manager to immediately eliminate all violations and transfer the necessary funds to the budget.

To date, the funds have not been paid to the budget. The manager failed to comply with the ARMA Order, so the National Agency filed a lawsuit with the Commercial Court of Odesa Oblast.

Earlier, the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (ARMA) held an auction for the sale of the Nika Spirit vessel seized in Izmail, Odesa region.
