The court arrested the property of a former official of the Kherson Physical and Technical Lyceum - a two-room apartment and a 2020 CHERY TIGGO 2 car. The woman faces up to 12 years in prison for collaborating with the Russian occupiers.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations.

According to the prosecutor's office, the former deputy director of the lyceum voluntarily worked for the Russian occupation administration during the capture of Kherson. She participated in the implementation of illegal decisions of the so-called "Department of Education and Science" of the occupiers, organized the educational process in accordance with Russian standards and the integration of the lyceum into the Russian education system.

The suspect involved teachers in cooperation with the occupation authorities, held meetings to promote support for Russia, pushed them to change their citizenship and participate in Russian banks and medical institutions, using blackmail and threats, motivating them with salaries and a positive attitude towards Russian aggression.

She also ensured the payment of salaries in Russian rubles in accordance with the illegal decisions of the occupation administration. The actions of the suspect are aimed at supporting the occupiers and pose a threat to the national security of Ukraine.

The court seized the apartment of 51.7 square meters and the vehicle, which may be confiscated upon conviction. Persons whose property has been seized may file a motion to have it canceled during the investigation or trial.

On November 4, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office notified a 50-year-old educator from Kherson in absentia of suspicion of aiding the aggressor state under Article 111-2, paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to Myrotvorets, it is Yulia Yablunovska, born on February 18, 1975, a native and resident of Kherson. Before Russia's invasion, she worked as a deputy director of educational work at the Kherson Physical and Technical Lyceum, taught physics and held the titles of "teacher of the highest category" and "teacher-methodologist".

After the occupation of Yablunovsk, she moved to Skadovsk, where she continues to work in the education system under the control of the Russian authorities. The website of the illegal Kherson State Pedagogical University lists her as the head of the technical support department. For aiding the aggressor state, she faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Another former deputy of the Kakhovka City Council, Ivan Korotkyi , joined the Russian occupiers in 2022. He headed the investigative bodies in Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka, passed information about pro-Ukrainian countrymen to the invaders, terrorized local residents and forced doctors to provide information about patients. The court sentenced him to 15 years in prison with confiscation of all his property, including his apartment.
