An executive committee meeting was convened in Odesa to discuss a subsidy for family-style children's homes

Ihor Koval, Acting Mayor of Odesa, convened an extraordinary meeting of the executive committee on July 15.

According to the press service of the Odesa City Government, the agenda includes a single item regarding the creation of a city commission to develop proposals on the need to allocate a subsidy from the state budget to local budgets for the implementation of a public investment program to provide housing for family-type children’s homes.

The commission is to consist of 15 members:

The commission will: determine the funding needs required to provide housing for family-type children’s homes; provide recommendations and proposals regarding residential properties planned for acquisition to provide housing for family-type children’s homes; approve these properties and any major renovations to them; and review and verify the documentation for these properties.
