An attack by "suicide bombers" killed a person in the Mykolaiv region

A morning attack by Russian drones claimed the life of a 50-year-old man in the Mykolaiv region. A tractor was also destroyed in the strike.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.

According to the Regional Military Administration, on September 30 and in the morning of October 1, the Russian army attacked the Mykolaiv region with “Shahed/Gerbera” strike drones.

During the morning attack, the strike hit the Vesnyanska community. A 50-year-old man was killed there. A tractor was also destroyed.

There was also a fatality in the Kherson region—over the past day, one person died and four others were wounded as a result of Russian attacks. Twenty-two settlements and the city of Kherson came under enemy air, drone, and artillery fire.

According to the Regional Military Administration, Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential neighborhoods. Two private homes and a farm building were damaged.

Meanwhile, in Odesa, a “Shahed” jet drone struck a business center in the Moldavanka neighborhood. The attack sparked a fire, and one person is known to have been injured.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of September 30, Russia attacked Ukraine with 107 strike drones of various types. Among them were 63 rocket-powered drones.

In addition to “Shaheds,” the Russian military used “Gerbera” drones and “Parody” decoy drones. The drones were launched from the areas of Orel, Millerovo, Bryansk, Shatalovo, the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, and Gvardeyskoye in occupied Crimea.
