This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

According to this indicator, agrarians of Odesa region came out on top among their colleagues in Ukraine, even beating Kyiv. Loans were taken out by 523 agricultural enterprises, which is also more than in the Kyiv region. However, in terms of the number of loan recipients, Odesa region was second to Kirovohrad region, where 570 companies took out loans worth UAH 2.9 billion.

In total, since the beginning of the year, 11,810 agricultural enterprises have attracted more than UAH 84.7 billion in loans under various financing programs.

Concessional financing of agricultural producers under the Affordable Loans 5-7-9 program during 2024-2025 is made possible by the support of the World Bank under the Emergency Project for Inclusive Support for the Recovery of Ukrainian Agriculture (ARISE). The program simplifies access to bank lending for micro and small businesses. Farmers can receive a loan of up to UAH 90 million. Loans are provided at 5-9% per annum, depending on the loan category and business entity.

In 2024, 13,888 agricultural enterprises received almost UAH 104.5 billion in bank loans for development. And under the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9", 8,750 farms were financed for UAH 46.9 billion.
