Abandoned equipment of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was found in occupied Crimea. According to the guerrillas, this demonstrates the fleet's serious problems with supply, repair and low combat capability of Russian forces.

This was reported by the Atesh resistance movement.

Near Sevastopol, a large military-technical parking lot of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was spotted, where most of the equipment has long been out of service and is standing in an open field without protection. According to sources, the equipment is located at coordinates 44.56485, 33.52116.

During the inspection of the territory, the observers noticed dozens of armored vehicles, tractors and special equipment that were not moving and covered with rust. Many units are apparently deregistered and not maintained, which poses a danger to further operation and demonstrates the complete neglect of the fleet.

The guerrillas noted that this indicates serious problems with the Black Sea Fleet 's supply of spare parts, repairs, and maintenance of combat capability. The operational mobility of the fleet is now at a critically low level, and attempts to use old equipment as a reserve only emphasize the lack of resources and weakness of the Russian army machine.

As Atesh emphasized, they continue to monitor the condition of the facility, and that such stops clearly demonstrate the real state of Russian forces in Crimea and their inability to maintain equipment in a combat condition.

The guerrillas also discovered an abandoned Russian medical unit in Sevastopol in the occupied Crimea. A special medical unit used to operate there, but now the equipment is standing under the scorching sun, the territory is overgrown with weeds, and the guards are mostly idle.

In August, the rebels also reconnoitered the territory of the former Sevastopol Aviation Plant, where the command center coordinating air strikes on the southern regions of Ukraine is now located. All collected data on personnel, equipment, and activities of the facility were handed over to the Defense Forces.

In addition, at the end of June, in Balaklava, guerrillas recorded restoration work near a Soviet underground submarine base. The entrance to the adit, which was used in the past to load torpedoes and missiles, is now open, the area has been cleared, and the protective barriers removed, which may indicate that the complex is being prepared for reuse.
