<span><span><span><span><span><span>The 30-year-old suspect turned out to be a female service member on active duty. She threw the explosive devices into her neighbors’ yard while under the influence of alcohol. She faces up to seven years in prison. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

Earlier, police announced that they had charged a serviceman with throwing a grenade near a school toward minors in the city of Podilsk. The man faces up to seven years in prison.
The investigation established that the man had the status of a deserter (SZCH). While intoxicated, he started a confrontation with teenagers standing near one of the local high schools. The man used profanity, brandishedan object resembling a grenade, and threatened to use it. He eventually threw it in the direction of the minors. As a result, a 13-year-old boy sustained injuries.
Earlier in the Odesa region, two patrol officers and a civilian they had stopped were hospitalized due to a grenade explosion.
