A woman suspected of bombing a police officer was arrested in Sevastopol

<span><span><span><span><span><span>A woman suspected of bombing a Russian Black Sea Fleet officer was detained in Sevastopol. She was arrested and remanded in custody for two months. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>It is claimed that the detainee is a Russian citizen born in 1994. The woman’s first and last names have not been officially disclosed. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The press service of the Crimean branch of the Russian FSB believes that the detainee was acting on orders from Ukrainian intelligence agencies. Ukrainian intelligence agencies have not yet commented on the incident.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>On August 13, in occupied Sevastopol on Stoletovsky Avenue, a man—preliminarily identified as a former Ukrainian officer—was killed in an explosion. According to unofficial reports, the victim was Robert Shageev, a traitor to Ukraine who defected to the Russian Navy.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

At thetime of the explosion, the man was walking down the stairs with a friend. It is preliminarily believed that the device was planted in a trash can near a bench. The man died at the scene from his injuries. Eyewitnesses to the incident noted that the explosion was so powerful that they thought a drone had struck the area. 

Earlier in occupied Crimea, a Russian soldier opened fire on fellow servicemen and local residents. A total of four people were killed, and four others were wounded. The shooter was detained. The reason why he opened fire on other soldiers and civilians has not been specified.
