The construction of a new water supply system is starting in the Sofiyivska community in Mykolaiv region.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic public procurement system Prozorro.

The Regional Office of Water Resources in Mykolaiv Oblast plans to spend UAH 16 million 694 thousand 754 on the first stage of work. This project is funded by the Danish Refugee Council.

The first stage involves repairing the existing pumping station. Two pumps and new electrical equipment with an automation system will be installed there. The outlet comb will also be repaired, a water metering unit will be equipped and one kilometer of water supply will be laid. The contractor will use the existing overhead crossing over the Ingul River. These works will take 4 months.

The second stage will include the construction of almost two kilometers of main water supply with wells and the arrangement of a site for two underground clean water tanks, each with a volume of 250 m³. Upon completion of the works, the road surface will be restored and the territory will be landscaped. This stage will take 7 months to complete.

The total length of the new water supply system will be 2981 meters. All works are to be completed by February 23, 2026. Applications are currently being accepted, and the winner will be selected at an auction on September 30.

Mykolaiv has decided who will repair a part of the water supply network in the Kulbakine neighborhood.

Mykolaivvodokanal held an open tender for the reconstruction of the water supply network along Solnechnyi Lane and the territory of the military unit near the Zorya-Mashproekt plant in the Kulbakine neighborhood on June 27. Only one company, Ukrspetsoborudovaniye LLC, applied for the tender. Since this type of tender involves one participant, this company is waiting for the decision to sign the contract.

If Mykolaivvodokanal's decision is positive, Ukrspetsoborudovaniye should complete the works, which are estimated at UAH 9.2 million, by the end of October 2025.
