A theater in Odesa was damaged by shelling

The Oleksandr Salik Municipal Theater suffered from a drone attack on August 4, which also started a fire in the radio market.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa municipality.

The Odesa Municipal Brass Band Theater named after People's Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Salik was established by the Odesa City Council in December 2003 as a municipal enterprise. The brass band performs at city and national holidays, sporting events, ceremonial meetings of delegations and tourists, and provides patronage cooperation with the navy and border guards.

Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies have launched a pre-trial investigation into war crimes.

On the night of August 4, the enemy again attacked Odesa region with attack drones, and rescuers had to extinguish fires in both Odesa and Odesa district. The fire damaged 50 trade pavilions, eight of which were destroyed to the ground. A large-scale fire was also extinguished in a dormitory that was not in operation. In Odesa district, a private house, whose owner extinguished the fire in his own yard, two buildings and two warehouses were damaged. According to preliminary information, no one was killed or injured.

On July 24, a massive drone attack on Odesa damaged residential buildings, causing large-scale fires and destruction, including in a high-rise building. At least three people were injured, five were rescued from the rubble, and the city suffered significant damage to civilian infrastructure.

On the night of July 22, the air defense forces of southern Ukraine shot down 11 enemy Shahed attack drones and other models of drones, all over the territory of Odesa region. According to preliminary data, the enemy launched a total of 12 drones.
