In Odesa region, DIU officers beat a military instructor and kidnapped a conscript. During an attempt to stop the car by the police on the highway, a shooting occurred.

This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda.

In Odesa region, an incident involving DIU employees occurred: they beat a military instructor and kidnapped a person liable for military service. When the attackers' car was stopped by a police rapid response team, a shooting ensued.

According to law enforcement, the incident occurred on September 7. The military training unit of the Podil Military District in Balta received a report that unknown persons in civilian clothes in a Mitsubishi Pajero had beaten an instructor and taken a soldier, Yuriy Zinchenko, born in 1995, from the military unit A4631 in the village of Karmeliukivka.

Police tried to stop a black car at an intersection near Balta's central park. One of the passengers showed a GUR operational ticket demanding not to interfere with the work. Despite the law enforcement officers' demands, the car continued to move in the direction of Benzari. In response, the police opened fire.

According to the investigation, one of the participants in the incident was Vadym Kytar, a native of Cherkasy region, born in 1997, who beat the instructor. An investigative team arrived at the scene, and the circumstances of the incident are being established. The incident was registered in the URPI.

Recently, the police tracked down and detained a 43-year-old man who had stolen a company car of the territorial center for recruitment and social support. According to the investigation, the citizen got into the car, which was supposed to take him for a medical examination, and suddenly, despite the presence of the driver, sat in the front seat and drove away. There were three other mobilized men in the car.

Also in July, the Odesa Regional TCC launched an internal investigation after another incident involving military and civilians, the video of which appeared on social media. The footage shows a man being put into a minibus while two women scream. The video gives the impression that the man is trying to prevent the doors from closing and escape from the vehicle.
