Authorities in Mykolaiv are investigating a Telegram group that posted locations where draft notices were being served and the patrol routes of the Territorial Defense Forces. Among the evidence gathered by investigators are dozens of messages and a so-called “manual” containing advice on how to evade mobilization efforts.

This was reported by Intent, citing a ruling by the Central District Court of Mykolaiv.

According to the investigation, the man was one of the moderators of a closed Telegram group that specialized in disseminating information about the locations of mobilization activities in Mykolaiv. Group members reported on the movements of TCC employees, the locations where draft notices were being delivered, and patrol routes.

The case materials state that between February and April 2026, the man systematically posted messages about the locations of the TCC’s mobile units in various districts of Mykolaiv. According to the investigation, such activity helped conscripts avoid receiving draft notices and created obstacles to the mobilization process.

Law enforcement officials paid particular attention to a document that was published in the group. According to the investigation, the moderator distributed a guide to group members containing recommendations on how to counter TCC representatives. It included advice on video recording the actions of military personnel, blocking transportation, applying psychological pressure, and other methods of obstructing conscription.

During the court hearing, the suspect pleaded guilty and agreed that the community’s activities were illegal. He also stated that he had registered with the employment center and plans to find official employment.

The defense requested that the pretrial measure be changed to house arrest or that bail be set, citing the man’s cooperation with the investigation and his health condition. The attorney noted that the suspect suffers from bronchial asthma and requires additional medical examinations.

The court partially took these circumstances into account. Although the detention period was extended until August 1, 2026, the judge set an alternative preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of 166,400 hryvnias.

As reported by Intent, one of the key episodes was the publication of the so-called “resistance manual.” The document, which was distributed among participants, contained detailed instructions on how to resist TCC employees.
