A municipal enterprise in Kherson was granted 12 hectares for parks and public gardens

In Kherson, the municipal enterprise "Parks of Kherson" was granted permanent use of land plots with a total area of more than 12.4 hectares. 

The relevant order was signed by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration.

The largest plot—8.69 hectares—was transferred for the construction and development of the Park of Glory.

It includes the main recreational area covering 8.4 hectares, as well as several small plots designated for historical and cultural purposes, on which cultural heritage sites are located.

The company also received an additional 0.97 hectares of land for the maintenance and development of Pokrovsky Park, located within the boundaries of Starobryadnitskaya, Richelievskaya, and Torgovaya Streets.

In addition, “Kherson Parks” was granted 2.76 hectares of land for the “Monastyrska Sloboda” park, located in the area of Perekopskaya Street, Parkovyi Lane, and 2nd Pridniprovskyi Lane.

All plots were transferred for permanent use from the municipal land reserve. Once the order takes effect, the enterprise must register its right to permanent use of these plots within three months.

Themunicipal enterprise “Kherson Parks” isa municipal enterprise of the Kherson City Council, founded in August 2016. The enterprise’s primary activity is the provision of landscaping services.

Since its founding, the enterprise has been headed by Serhiy Bilokovilenko, who was then a member of the Kherson City Council. As of May 2026, “Kherson Parks” is headed by Viktor Tsiktor.
