The Russians have once again launched missile attacks on the Odesa region. As a result of the shelling, a foreign civilian vessel was damaged in the port, and crew members were injured.

This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

According to him, a missile struck the port area, damaging the vessel’s superstructure. A fire broke out on board after the strike. The 17-member crew was quickly evacuated. Four sailors were injured, but after receiving medical attention, they did not require hospitalization.

Kipper emphasized that this is yet another attack by the Russian military on civilians and civilian shipping.

Prior to this, Russian troops also shelled a residential area in the Odesa region. The attack damaged a garage and two passenger cars. No one was injured. All relevant emergency services responded to the scene.

On the night of July 18, the occupying forces carried out another missile attack on the Odesa region. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, guided air-to-surface missiles were launched from the Black Sea toward the Odesa region.

The military later clarified that the missiles were targeting the city of Pivdenne. As of this morning, no information regarding the consequences of this attack had been received.

Attacks on port infrastructure and civilian vessels continue on a regular basis.

On July 15,Russian forces launched “Shahed” drone strikes against port infrastructure in the Mykolaiv district and an agricultural enterprise in the Bashtanka district.

Port infrastructure in the Odesa region is also subject to regular shelling—the Russians are attacking ships flying foreign flags and other targets.

In particular, on July 14, the occupiers attacked three vessels in the Black Sea that were traveling through the maritime corridor under the flags of Tanzania, Liberia, and the Marshall Islands. A fire broke out on board one of them—flying the Marshall Islands flag—and two people were killed as a result of the strike.
