A mobile kindergarten "on wheels" is being launched in the Velyko Oleksandrivska hromada in the Kherson Oblast.

This was announced by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Oblast State Administration.

The institution was created on the basis of a special bus and is intended to partially compensate for the lack of preschool education in settlements where educational institutions were damaged or completely destroyed as a result of Russian aggression. The mobile space is equipped with everything necessary for the full development of children: from textbooks and educational games to sports equipment, special furniture, and even an autonomous hygiene area with a washbasin.

Special transport will run between the villages, providing preschool and primary school children with the opportunity to study and spend their leisure time actively. The initiative was implemented by the Kherson Regional Development Agency in cooperation with the Swiss charity organization Swiss for Ukraine. In addition to the educational bus, the international partners donated two cars for the community's logistical needs, which will strengthen the sustainability of the local education and management system.

As a reminder, Voznesensk, Mykolaiv Oblast, is preparing a decision to close kindergarten No. 16 "Yahidka The Voznesensk City Council is considering closing down the municipal pre-school No. 16. The decision to close Yahidka is currently in the planning stages.

The main reason for this step is the inability to guarantee the safety of children: it is impossible to arrange a shelter in the premises. In addition to the lack of a shelter, the facility had a number of technical problems, including a too small food unit that cannot be modernized.

Economic and human resources factors also played a role: due to the small number of children in the facility, it was not possible to maintain a full-time staff of specialists (psychologist, nurse, etc.). Currently, the kindergarten is not actually operating - all the children have already been transferred to Horobynka kindergarten #15. For the convenience of families from the Pryamoye neighborhood, the authorities promise to organize free bus transportation. Horobynka will become the successor to Yahidka, and the liquidation will save budget funds without compromising the educational process.
