The MP is suspected of illicit enrichment of over UAH 12.7 million. The assets involved in the case include a cottage in Koblevo on the Black Sea coast.

According to the NACP, based on the collected materials, the current MP was notified of suspicion of illicit enrichment.

According to the NACP, in 2020, the MP's acquaintances purchased an apartment in the center of Kyiv with an area of 132.6 square meters worth UAH 5.6 million on his behalf. According to the agency, this apartment was used by the MP himself and his family members.

An analysis of income and expenses conducted by the NACP showed that neither the MP and his wife nor the persons who purchased the apartment on his behalf had sufficient financial capacity to make such a purchase. In January 2025, the agency submitted the materials collected during the monitoring to the SAPO.

In addition to the apartment in the capital, the investigation found other assets that were considered to be illegally acquired. These include a cottage and a land plot on the Black Sea coast in Koblevo worth UAH 1.7 million, as well as more than UAH 5.5 million spent on luxury renovations of the capital's apartment.

The NACP does not name the MP, but according to the EP, it is Oleksandr Kachnyi. In 2024, Bihus.Info journalists found out that MP Kachnyi's 87-year-old mother-in-law gave her daughter UAH 6.5 million in 2022. Answering journalists' questions, the woman said that "maybe more was given" and that the family had a business. However, when asked about her business activities, the woman replied that she had worked as an accountant all her life and asked not to be disturbed anymore.

In addition, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption found signs of inaccuracy in the declaration of Vadym Koloidenko , a deputy of the Odesa Regional Council, for 2024 in the amount of UAH 23 million 316.6 thousand.
