A drone damaged a private home in the Izmail District

During another Russian attack on the night of June 21, a drone flew into a residential area in the Izmail District and struck a house.

This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration. 

According to him, the house and an outbuilding sustained significant damage, and a fire broke out as a result. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, and there were no casualties or injuries. 

The day before, the enemy targeted infrastructure in the Odesa region with drones twice in a single day. First, on the morning of June 20, anenemy Shahed-type strike drone attacked a gas station in the southern part of the Odesa region. The strike caused a gas tanker and the exterior of the control room building to catch fire. Rescue workers extinguished the fire. Cleanup efforts are ongoing. There were no casualties. 

Shortly thereafter, attacks targeted the premises of a transportation and construction company. Empty fuel storage tanks were damaged. The resulting fires were extinguished by rescue workers. There were no casualties.

On the evening of June 18, Russian drones attacked two foreigncivilian vessels inthe Black Sea as they were leaving Ukrainian ports. According to Ukrainian authorities, the vessels, flying the flags of Panama and St. Kitts and Nevis, were struck. 

As a result of the attack, one crew member was killed on one of the vessels, and two other sailors were injured. Three crew members were injured on the second vessel. They received the necessary medical care. 

Attacks on the merchant fleetin the Black Sea alsothreaten the stability of maritime transport and the safety of international shipping.

In early June, two Ukrainian civilian search-and-rescue vessels were attacked by Russian forces while carrying out a humanitarian mission within the Ukrainian maritime corridor. As explained by the Ukrainian Navy,both vesselswere marked with “SAR” (Search and Rescue), indicating their purpose of searching for and rescuing people at sea, so it was impossible to mistake them for military vessels. 

On the morning of May 18, while transiting the Ukrainian corridor toward the entrance to the port of Chornomorsk, Russia attacked a civilian vessel flying the Panamanian flag. The vessel sustained damage,and a fire broke out, which the crew extinguished on their own.

On the afternoon of June 16, the Russians once again attacked the Odesa region with unmanned aerial vehicles,damaginga private home.
