The court has scheduled a hearing on the case regarding the eviction of the “Odessa Plus” television and radio company from municipal premises. The media company is also required to pay more than 111,000 hryvnias in arrears for utility services.
This is stated in a ruling by the Commercial Court of Odesa Oblast.
At the hearing on October 22, the court closed the preliminary proceedings and scheduled the trial on the merits for November 19, 2026. The parties to the proceedings have the opportunity to submit additional explanations and evidence before the start of the first hearing.
The plaintiff in the case is the Odesa Regional Municipal Enterprise “Service for the Operation of the Integrated Property Complex—Administrative Building No. 2.”
According to the utility company, a lease agreement for non-residential premises was signed with the “Odessa Plus” TV and Radio Company back in January 2012. According to the plaintiff, the television and radio company consumed utility services from September through December 2021 without reimbursing their cost. As a result, a debt of 111,864 hryvnias has accumulated.
The case file also indicates that the television and radio company continued to use the premises even after the lease agreement expired.
The utility company filed the complaint back in late June 2026, but the initiation of proceedings was delayed due to the need to correct deficiencies regarding the payment of the court fee.
TRK “Odessa-Plus” is an Odessa-based news and entertainment television and radio company that began broadcasting in 2001. The company was registered on September 18, 1995. The head of the organization is Ruslan Viktorovich Yevdokimov.
