A 72-year-old man and woman were injured in a drone strike in the Kherson region

Over the past day, Russian troops have attacked the Kherson region using aircraft, drones, and artillery. Two people—a 72-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman—were injured as a result of the shelling.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

At around 10:35 a.m., the Russians attacked Pryozerne with a drone. The drone struck a residential building, injuring two people. A 72-year-old man and a 72-year-old woman sustained blast injuries and concussions.

Overall, Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods in the region. A high-rise building and two private homes were damaged. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline.

The Regional Military Administration reminded residents that those wishing to evacuate to safer areas can contact the regional contact center.

As Intent previously reported, on September 25–26, one person was killed and three others were wounded in the Kherson region as a result of enemy shelling. Five private homes and several private vehicles were damaged.

On September 21, Russian shelling damaged two high-rise buildings and six private homes, as well as a church, a museum, a restaurant, a bank, an administrative building, a supermarket, a gas pipeline, a route taxi, and private cars.

On September 20, three people were killed and nine others were injured—including a child—as a result of Russian attacks in the Kherson region.
