A project to reconstruct an architectural monument has been initiated in Bolgrad. The goal is to preserve the historic appearance of the building, and the restoration was estimated at more than UAH 7 million.

This is evidenced by data from the DREAM ecosystem.

Bolhrad is preparing to restore the facade of the architectural monument "Mansion of 1870-1890". The building is one of the most valuable historical structures in the city and an important part of the cultural environment, but the facade is currently in poor condition: the plaster is crumbling, decorative elements (cornices, stucco, platbands) are damaged, and authentic architectural details have been lost.

The project envisages a comprehensive restoration and conservation of the facade, restoring the historic appearance of the building and integrating the object into the modern cultural and tourist space of the community. A scientific and technical inspection of the building has already been planned with the involvement of restoration specialists. Next, the surfaces will be cleaned of dirt, salts, fungus and old paints using safe methods, the plaster will be restored, decorative elements will be restored and the facade will be painted with mineral paints close to the historical color scheme.

To protect the building, waterproofing works and a drainage system are envisaged. The final stage of the project will include architectural lighting of the building and landscaping of the surrounding area.

The total estimated budget of the project is UAH 7.4 million. Of these, UAH 4.48 million is provided for construction work and capital expenditures. Project management is estimated at 1.66 million, design and survey work - 380 thousand, technical supervision - 107 thousand, and other operating expenses - 762 thousand hryvnias.

The project is currently in preparation, but funding has not yet been confirmed. According to the initiators, the restoration of the facade will contribute to the preservation of historical heritage, tourism development, and economic growth of the Bolhrad community. The responsible balance holder of the facility is the Bolhrad City Council of Odesa Oblast.

In Odesa, the repair of the OdesaLanzheronivskyi Lyceum was also resumed. The project, which started in 2021, has been revised and provides not only for the renovation of the building but also for the comprehensive modernization of the institution's territory. The total estimate is more than UAH 71.6 million, of which only 13.55% of the funding has been confirmed.
