44 million allocated for construction of shelter in Oleksandrivka lyceum in Mykolaiv region

<span><span><span><span><span><span>A lyceum in Mykolaiv region decided to build a radiation shelter. More than 44 million hryvnias were allocated from the city budget for this purpose. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the Oleksandrivka Village Council has announced an open tender for the construction of a new radiation protection shelter at the Oleksandrivka Taras Shevchenko Lyceum, located in the village of Oleksandrivka, Voznesensk district, Mykolaiv region.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The expected cost of the works is UAH 44.6 million including VAT. The winning contractor must complete the construction of the shelter by December 25, 2025. The works will be financed from the local budget.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>As stated in the tender documentation, the radiation shelter is designed to improve the safety of students and staff of the lyceum in emergency situations related to radiation threats. This construction is part of measures to modernize educational institutions in the region aimed at protecting the public.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Bids will be accepted until June 28, 2025, and the auction will take place on June 30. Bids must be submitted in Ukrainian, and the minimum price reduction step is UAH 223,146, i.e. 0.5% of the expected purchase amount.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>All works must be performed in accordance with state construction standards. Payment for the work performed will be made after acceptance by the customer, within 10 calendar days.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

Mykolaiv also announced a tender for the overhaul of two gyms on the ground floor of the Zorya sports complex. The project involves a full range of works: dismantling, construction and finishing works, upgrading water supply, sewerage, ventilation, heating and electric lighting systems, as well as gym equipment. The expected cost of the works is over UAH 16.5 million.
