External Independent Assessment

ZNO (External Independent Assessment) is a testing system for evaluating the level of knowledge of secondary school graduates upon admission to higher education institutions in Ukraine. The system has been in operation since 2004 and is aimed at ensuring equal access to higher education and controlling the quality of education. Testing covers several subjects and is conducted annually in various regions of Ukraine, including southern regions. ZNO is an important indicator of the state of the educational system in the country.
