Day of the State Flag of Ukraine

Flag Day is a celebration of Ukraine's state symbols, primarily the State Flag as one of the main symbols of the state. The holiday is observed annually on August 23 in honor of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine. During this day, various cities across Ukraine hold mass events, ranging from parades and motorcycle rallies to embroidery exhibitions and the installation of large flags. Flag Day also encompasses the celebration of cultural symbols of other peoples of Ukraine, including the Crimean Tatar flag.
