Telethons in Ukraine

A telethon is a multi-hour or multi-day continuous television broadcast that is typically conducted for charitable, political, or informational purposes. During a telethon, well-known politicians, artists, athletes, and other public figures are invited on air to participate in discussions of current events, fundraising, or support for important social initiatives. In Ukraine, telethons are often organized to cover issues related to military operations, territory demining, and other problems critical to the state.
