Tarutino Steppe

The Tarutyno Steppe is a natural area in the south of Odesa Region, one of the largest preserved fragments of steppe ecosystem in Ukraine. It has the status of a local-level landscape reserve and is part of the nature reserve fund. The territory is located in Bolhrad District, on the lands of the Bessarabka and Budzhak settlement hromadas. The reserve protects steppe flora and fauna and is an important object of nature conservation interest in the region.
