Events from the State Ecological Inspection of the
The State Environmental Inspection of the South-Western District is a state body responsible for monitoring and protecting the environment in the south-western region of Ukraine, particularly in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. The Inspection engages in environmental monitoring, investigation of violations of environmental protection legislation, including poaching and illegal dumping, as well as assessment of environmental damage from military operations and man-made disasters. The organization works to protect marine and river ecosystems of the region and hold violators of environmental standards accountable.
