Solar energy in Ukraine
Solar panels are devices for converting solar energy into electrical energy. In Ukraine, especially in southern regions (Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson region), solar panels are being actively implemented for both municipal needs and private households and public institutions. They are used for electricity supply, water supply, and heating, especially in conditions of energy challenges caused by military operations. The development of solar energy contributes to energy independence of communities and reduces dependence on centralized energy systems.
