Social services and protection

Social services are a system of social services and institutions that provide assistance to vulnerable categories of the population, including children, people with disabilities, and low-income citizens. The competence of social services includes social protection, guardianship, child rights protection, provision of social taxi services, and other forms of social support at the community and regional levels. Social workers work to prevent violence, bullying, and abuse, as well as ensure accessibility of services for people with limited mobility. These services are an important part of the social protection system in Ukrainian communities.
