Richelieu

Richelieu is a historic district and popular public area in the center of Odesa, located near the seashore. The district is named after the French Cardinal Armand-Jean du Plessis, Duke of Richelieu, who contributed to the development of the city in the early nineteenth century. Important cultural and architectural landmarks are located here, including the Duc's Garden and adjacent territories.
