Sister cities are cities, predominantly from different countries, between which permanent friendly relations and cooperation agreements have been established. Such partnerships are aimed at mutual familiarization with culture, history, and experience in the fields of economics, education, sports, and municipal management. Cooperation is realized through the exchange of delegations, cultural projects, and joint initiatives.
